Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born on April 2, 1985) is an American professional basketball player. She plays for Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, prior to being selected by the Wings as the 5th overall selection in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2 1997, was the daughter of Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her brothers. Her parents spoilt her the most due to her being the most young. Gregory, Gregory's father, served in the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale is from a very active family history. Her brother Dare played football, and Yolanda Her mother was a softball player. Her cousin Endia Olive is also a volleyball player at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale's name was on the honour roll of her school three straight year. While in high school, Ogunbowale received numerous awards and has was recognized as a celebrity. Arike graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is located in her hometown. The school was accompanied by three years of play in varsity. Ogunbowale led her team to stunning victories with her incredible skills several times. She compiled her high school record with 73 career starts and lists her career's totals as 1 477 and 739 rebound. Ogunbowale played in the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships 2014 World Championships of FIBA U17 2013 3x3 Championships of FIBA for U18 where she won Gold Medals. In 2014, the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team was announced on the 7th July 2014. Ogunbowale is also selected on the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first collegiate season. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for hitting multiple large shots in the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale may be new to basketball, but she has rapidly established herself. According to sources, Arike Ogunbowale's net worth is believed to be at least $5 million. Ogunbowale's talents are not limited to basketball. She also plays soccer and won three State Cup championships for the Lake County United Soccer Club. She played piano as well for seven years.
