Annette Funicello measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Annette Funicello, then 13 years old, was discovered to be a child by Walt Disney in an amateur production of Swan Lake performed in Fullerton California. Funicello was, much to the annoyance of the other Mickey Mouse Club stars, became a part of the cast once the premiere season was over and did not have to be auditioned for. Disney was right to make the decision as Funicello soon became the major character on The Mickey Mouse Club. Additionally, she wrote her own story of adventure, Adventures in Dairyland. Funicello's potential as a teenage celebrity was realized quickly. Disney hired Tutti Camerata, a well-established arranger, to assist her in launching her music career. Annette, however, was not too thrilled about Funicello singing. Funicello eventually became accustomed to making records and really liked working with Camerata among the very few forty-something arrangers of the time who got the basic elements of the early rock music. Annette Sings Anka markedly improved her records, beginning with the third. It was likely the first album to feature the works of rock writers as a repertoire. Funicello appeared as a character in Beach Party which was one of five extremely popular beach party flicks, often co-starring Frankie Avalon. Although produced by AIP the scripts were personally checked and approved by Walt Disney, in order to protect Annette's impeccable image. Funicello films were significant grounds to break the other artists; Stevie Wonder appeared in Muscle Beach Party
