Allie Clifton
Allie Clifton, a sports broadcaster with Spectrum Sports Net, is now in her fifth season as a player for the Los Angeles Lakers. Allie has been a professional basketball player for more than ten years and is also the winner of five Emmy Awards. Before becoming a part of Spectrum Sports Net, Allie served as the sideline reporter of FOX Sports Ohio's Cleveland Cavaliers telecasts, sideline reporter for the Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers), sports reporter on 13 ABC Action News (WTVG) and color analyst as well as sideline reporter for high-school and college basketball, volleyball as well as track and field on the Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN). Clifton is an Ohio born native and graduated with qualifications in sports analysis, communications and liberal studies from The University of Toledo. The following year, after a successful high-school basketball experience during her time at Van Wert High School, that included being captain of the school's premier and sole league championship team for her school, Allie continued her basketball success while at UT. She was three times captain and a letter-winner for four seasons, and helped winning the Mid-American Conference West Division in 2010. Clifton also played at The Q. Clifton played in The Q in this year's MAC Tournament when she was playing at Toledo.
